We’re so excited to share our hometown with you! Whether you’re here for the whole weekend or just a quick trip, here are some of our favorite places to eat, shop, and explore around the city.

Please do not hesitate to text Annie or David with any questions. We love this city and are always more than happy to give recs!!

Dinner Favorites

(All fairly close to the hotels)

Cheever’s Café - An OKC classic known for Southwestern comfort food, cocktails, and their famous chicken fried steak

Elisabetta - A fabulous neighborhood Italian spot with handmade pasta and a great wine list

Bellini’s at the Waterford - A classic Italian spot at the Waterford hotel. Highly recommend sitting out on the back patio!

Republic Gastropub (in Classen Curve)- A favorite sports bar with excellent food and one of the best beer selections in the city

Red Rock Canyon Grill - A great American spot that looks out over Lake Hefner. They don't take reservations, but you can put your name on the list online. Live music on Friday evenings!

Restoration Hardware Rooftop Restaurant (@ The Oak) - A beautiful rooftop setting for drinks or dinner

Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar (@ The Oak) - don't knock it til you try it

(A little further, but fabulous)

Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes - A lively Mexican restaurant known for creative dishes and great margaritas

Hall’s Pizza Kitchen - Upscale enough for dinner with really excellent pizza. Also highly recommend their cookies :)

Breakfast/Coffee

Coffee within walking distance from the hotel includes Starbucks in Nichols Hills Plaza and Green Goodies in Classen Curve

Breakfast shoutout: Cafe Cacao - A delicious and very popular (for good reason) Guatemalan restaurant. You must get there before 9am to beat the crowd!

Saturday Suggestions

Paseo Arts District - A funky arts district filled with small galleries, local boutiques, restaurants, and colorful architecture. We recommend Frida Southwest for brunch (don't skip the cast iron cinnamon roll!!), Oso Paseo for excellent margs and non-traditional tacos, and Sauced for a slice of pizza. For shopping, pop into Eden's boutique or Betsey King Shoes (if you're in a treat yourself mood!)

Plaza District - One of OKC’s most fun walkable neighborhoods with local shops, bars, and restaurants.

While there, grab a cocktail and a bite at Bar Sen (NYT top 50 restaurant in 2025), a burger & fries at New State Burgers, and/or a beer at Good for a Few

Other activities

Classen Curve - A great shopping area with a little of everything! Very close to the hotels

Chicken N Pickle - Pickleball courts, excellent food, drinks, and games. Reserve indoor or outdoor courts 2 weeks in advance if you want to play

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games - Go-karts, arcade games, simulators, and a full bar — great for groups

Scissortail Park + Social Capital - Spend some time walking through Scissortail Park, then grab a beer at Social Capital right across the street

OKC National Memorial & Museum - A beautiful memorial honoring those affected by the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum - A uniquely Oklahoma experience featuring Western art, history, and culture

Oklahoma City Museum of Art - Worth visiting for the incredible Chihuly glass exhibit alone

If anyone is bringing kids with them over the weekend, we LOVE the Oklahoma City Zoo. OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark is also brand new and is supposed to be fabulous

Walk/Run Trails

For our Strava-oriented friends (and everyone), we recommend taking a take a run or a stroll through Grand Boulevard Park in Nichols Hills
